Description

The Janatics Filter Regulator Combination (FRC1…LA) Series is a combination of filtering and regulating the compressed air, in one unit. This unit is fitted with Metal bowl with Level Indicator for operating higher pressure range compressed air. The Level Indicator shows the water level collected inside the metal bowl. Internal Auto Drain fitted for draining the content collected inside the bowl.

It uses a separator with a shield for efficient moisture removal, in the compressed air.

1. Air Filtration: The bronze filter element is mounted to remove contaminants from compressed air. The filter element is available in different micron sizes: 1, 5, 25, 40, 50, and 100 (µm). The 40 (µm) option is recommended as standard.
2. Pressure Regulation: The required pressure setting is done by lifting the knob and clockwise rotations given to increase the set pressure. The knob rotated Anti clockwise to reduce the pressure. The pressure gauge fitted denotes the outlet pressure. After setting the required pressure the knob is pushed to lock.
3. Features: Diaphragm operated relieving type. Balanced poppet given for pressure compensation. Venturi provided for flow compensation.
4. The Metal bowl assembled with a Internal Auto Drain for draining the water collected in the bowl. The Metal bowl is with Level Indicator which shows the water level collected inside the bowl.
5. Internal Auto-Drain Arrangement

The FRC1…LA series is built with Internal "normally open type" Auto Drain unit for draining the water collected inside the bowl.

1. The auto drain valve remains open up to pressure 2 bar. When the pressure increases more than 2 bar the valve closes and the water starts collecting inside the bowl.
2. The Internal Auto Drain has a float assembly and valve assembly which Initiates the auto drain function. The collected water periodically drained.
3. Manual Operation: When the Hose connector Pushed Upwards manually allows to operate a manual draining whenever necessary.
4. Durable Design: The polycarbonate bowl assembled with steel bowl guard, is fitted with the Internal Auto Drain Unit to eliminate the water that accumulates.
5. Above the float assembly, bowl filter is provided to protect the orifice of the Auto Drain unit from dust blocking.

Technical Specifications

1. Regulating Pressure Range: 0.2–2 bar, 0.2–4 bar, 0.5–7 bar, and 0.5–10 bar.

Available Sizes:

1. The FRC14(with Venturi), FRC15(with Venturi) models (G3/8, G1/2) has Metal Bowl fitted with screws.
2. The FRC17 model (G3/4, G1) has a bayonet-type bowl guard with Venturi.
3. Mounting: Filter can be mounted in line using the IN / OUT ports. Mounting bracket is recommended to mount the Filter. Panel Mounting also possible with the provided thread. Modular mounting recommended.
4. Working Pressure Range: 2 - 10 bar.
